Interior Painting

On March 15 and 16 we painted the foyer and dining room. After 5+ years, I decided I wasn't into powder blue and mauve - colors of the mid/late 1980s. So, a bit of drama has been added.

See the before/after mouseovers (you may have to move the mouse off the image and back on before it'll work) of these areas. The lighting wasn't the same (night for the befores and day for the afters), but you'll get the idea.

It took most of the weekend - all edges and prepwork and then, because the color change was so serious, two coats for the blue and three coats for the red. But I actually like my dining room now!
